Management of requests and exercise of rights

Purpose

Management of the exercise of rights, inquiries, incidents, and claims related to privacy and data protection.


Entity in charge


The legal basis for processing is:

  • Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR: Processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the controller is subject.

Data retention periods

Data will be stored for the time necessary to fulfill the purpose for which they were collected and, in any case, for at least three years in accordance with the provisions of Article 78 of the LOPDPGDD.


Affected groups

Any natural person who has a legal relationship or commercial or personal interest with Navantia. In particular, any employee, customer, supplier, contractor, user of Navantia’s websites, either personally or through a legal representative. Any natural person can contact Navantia directly at the address: [email protected]; or indirectly through the submission or communication to the Spanish Data Protection Agency.

Security measures

The security measures applied correspond to those provided in Annex II (Security Measures) of Royal Decree 311/2022, of May 3, which regulates the National Security Scheme in the field of Electronic Administration and are described in the documents forming part of Navantia’s Data Protection and Information Security Policy. Security measures corresponding to Annex A of UNE-EN/IEC 27001 - Information Security Management Systems.

Additionally, security measures are adopted for paper-based documentation according to the risks to which they are exposed, in order to ensure the confidentiality of the processed data.

Communications are foreseen when data communication can be carried out in accordance with Article 6 of the GDPR regarding the legal basis for processing to:

  • Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD)
  • Other Spanish or European public bodies and administrations
  • Courts and Tribunals of Justice
